Saturday October 6, 2001saw the opening of another block buster two day Collectors & Celebrities show at Beverly Garland's Holliday Inn located at 4222 Vineland Ave in North Hollywood, California.  Although there were literally too many celebrities present to mention, we will tell you the ones who most caught our attention:  Herman Brix (Bruce Bennett), Kevin McCarthy, Jonathon Harris, Jennifer Flowers, Don Knotts, Gary Busey, Ed Asner, Tommy Sands, Soupy Sales, David Carradine and Joey Heatherton.  As if all the celebrities weren't enough, there were plenty of dealers there too, selling stills, lobby cards, posters and the like.  Needless to say, we spent more than a few bucks before leaving the gathering.  If you missed this event, take heart: The next big show will be on January 19th & 20, 2002 at the same location.  (They are always at Beverly Garland's Holliday Inn as is Beverly Garland herself.)  -- Bruce David/Swapsale
