MIKE ELMO'S SUMMER VACATION
A Visit With Bob Burns, Dan Roebuck, Jan Merlin and Frankie Thomas
Greetings Cadets,
My Wife, Kim and I paid a visit to Burbank, Ca. to visit our dear
Friends, Bob and Kathy Burns. While there, Bob and our gang, which included Dan Roebuck, of U.S. Marshals fame, went to the Griffith
Observatory, to have a little fun. I dressed in my two Space Ranger Uniforms and we took many photos of me at various spots around the
Observatory. Many of the outdoor shots of the Rocky Jones Space Ranger Series, were filmed there. We had a real rocket blast!!! Fun, fun,
fun!!!
Bob, Kathy, Kim and I went to Jan and Barbara Merlin's for a luncheon and Frankie Thomas came over as well. Talk about an afternoon just
flying by!!! We all had a GREAT time!! Lots of stories and great times were remembered!! I brought new Space Cadet T-shirts for Jan and Frankie
and Barbara. They loved them and rushed to try them on! This coming February, Jan, Barbara and Frankie are to be in Williamsburg, Va. for a
convention. Bob and Kathy want to try to attend also, so, if any of you Cadets want to go and get to be with a POO BUCKET of other
Cadets, go to

Kim and I were also treated to Bob and Kathy's hospitality at the
museum. I got to try on Richard Crane's Dress Tunic from the R.J.
Series and also the Space Patrol Space Suite. What a thrill!!!!!! Lots of great fun!!
