SCI FI CLASSICS, Vol. 1 contains the the first science fiction "talkie," JUST IMAGINE. Starring Maureen O'Sullivan (this movie launched her career), Just Imagine also has the distinction of being, perhaps, the world's only sci fi musical. Lensed in 1930, it is set fifty years in the future (1980) in a world populated by people with numbers instead of names who travel in flying cars and who must have their marriages decided by the government. Lush sets and supurb special effects for the period (this movie marks the very first appearance of the rocketship later used in the Flash Gordon serials) mark this movie as a "must have" for sci-fi fans. 102 minutes. B&W. Uncut -- $12.95
