Also featured are Tuesday Weld, June Allyson (Powell's wife), Edgar Bergan, Andy Williams, John Saxon and Earnest Truex. Of passing interest, this show was written and produced by Aaron Spelling. Episode two: Thunder in a Forgotten Town is a murder mystery starring Jackie Cooper and featuring David Janssen, Milton Berle, Edie Adams, Joey Bishop, Dewy Martin, Pat O'Brian and Susan Oliver. David Niven is guest host of the show. This tape contains three half hour episodes of the light hearted 1950's TV drama starring Peggy Wood and featuring a very young Dick Van Patten as the family's oldest son, Nels. Based on the book, "Mama's Bank Account" by Kathryn Forbes, these are the stories of an immigrant family in the early part of 20th Century America. The first two episodes are untitled, the third one is: Queen of the Bee. Overall quality is uneven but viewable. The last episode is particularly rough and ends without the closing credits. This tape contains two one hour episodes of this 50's dramatic series: The Kill, starring Grace Kelly (must have been one of her first major roles), Nina Foch, Dick Foran and Confessions of a Nervous Man, a humorous offering starring Art Carney and written by George Axelrod about how the success of his play, The Seven Year Itch, effected him. Also featured are Jacqueline Susann and Barbara Nichols. Comes complete with commercials featuring Betty Furness. Very good quality transfer -- $14.95 Studio One, Vol. 2. This tape contains two one hour episodes of this 1950's dramatic series: Hound-Dog Man, starring Jackie Cooper, E.G. Marshall and Betsy Palmer and The Rockingham Tea Set, starring Scott Forbs (later to become TV's Jim Bowie), and Cloris Leachman. Comes complete with commercials featuring Betty Furness.
